  • Ian Rankin’s Exit Music
Exit MusicI got hooked onto Ian Rankin’s Rebus series a couple of years back and it seems this could be the last in the series, Although I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping thats not the case. DI Rebus, the series main character, is going to retire in 8 days and he is trying to tie up the loose ends. The book is very Rebus, full of distrust of overlords (as he puts it for anyone at a higher rank), booze and Edinburgh.
  • An Essential Guide to Singlish

Singlish very useful if you would want to know the difference between lor, leh, lah, mah, meh… apparently, I speak more Singlish than I thought! 😛

  • The Curious incident of the Dog in the night-time

Curious Incident I have not read this book yet, but the reviews are really good. It’s fictional first-person account of an autistic teenager boy, who finds his neighbor’s dog dead one night, and as he loves puzzles decides to find who killed the dog… Sounds interesting

  • Kite Runner – I don’t have this book on me, but I am not sure if I would want to read it, the movie is out, might as well just watch that

  1. curious incident is great. enjoy!

  2. Thanks Schinders, I did enjoy the book. Although, I couldn’t read all in one go; took 3 days to finish. Very interesting.
